As the ocean
rolls onto the shore
and storm clouds fill the sky
I stand here wondering why
You had to say goodbye

As the rain falls loudly
on my heart
The salty tears collide
and no-one ever knows
how parting hurts me so

As time goes by
I dare not go insane
I hide the pain
Can't love again

Still burning up with silly pride
passions turn to hate
This feeling coming late
of dreaded thoughts I make

Now years have passed
and I have found
new love
sent from the sky
flew in on
a dove
lifting me on high

On wings stretched wide
I glide into
loves cloud
now shouting loud

as I Fly Away..
